Thank you for referencing that article Zakeet. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

Regarding so-called federal food stamp money, patriots are reminded of the following. The Constitution’s silence on this issue means that feeding the poor is uniquely a state power issue, not the business of the feds. This is evidenced by the following excerpts from the writings of previous generations of state sovereignty-respecting Supreme Court justices and a constitutional lawmaker.

The problem is that the states rely on federal assistance to feed the poor because the unconstitutionally big, post-17th Amendment ratification federal government keeps stealing state revenues by means of unconstitutional federal taxes evidenced by the Gibbon v. Ogden excerpt above.

The bottom line is that crook Democratic and RINO federal lawmakers are stealing state revenues to buy the votes of food stamp recipients to help them stay in power imo.

“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.”

It’s borrowed money, ~$21 trillion.

“The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States”

The Founding Fathers never envisioned borrowing $21 trillion to fund a welfare state.

“The Congress shall have Power to dispose of and make all needful Rules and Regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States”

The Article IV, Section 3 Congressional “power to dispose of” is the Constitutional power behind federal welfare funding.

Congress disposes of its money (once yours) to the states and the states hand it out to individuals, families and social welfare institutions.

“Phrasal Verb: dispose of ....
“2. To give or transfer to someone else, especially permanently: She disposed of her estate among her heirs. He disposed of his memoirs to a research library.”

“unconstitutional federal taxes”

Congress has the power to tax, limited only by the Article I Section 9 proportionality requirement, which no longer applies to taxes on incomes (and may not apply at all since the proportionality requirement was meant to be absolute).

Congress might tax all real and personal property in the United States at 100% and that might meet the proportionality requirement.

The Constitution has serious defects.

The power to tax has always been in the Constitution:

“The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States”

I’ll leave a discussion of general for another time.
