It sounds like they were too expensive. Verizon recently sent out a notice saying they may be dropping Disney programming, which includes ESPN, because they can't reach agreement on cost. Good on Verizon for trying to control costs. Maybe cord cutting is starting to have an impact.
I would never watch anything that Glenn Beck is associated with. It's a shame Levin has been linked with Beck, though my understanding is that Levin had no control over that.

This is such an easy fix. Let each channel/channel group set their own price. Verizon can take a ten or twenty percent cut, and is just out of the pricing business. Then people can pick and choose exactly which channels they want, and the content providers can set exactly what price they want. Verizon/Frontier/everyone else no longer has to bother with price negotiations!

Over the weekend I wanted to see the Alabama game but since I cut the cord I thought I might not since it was on ESPN.
Well I have ROKU and the ESPN app on that, but if you don’t have a cable provider you can’t use it or so I thought.
I was looking at the APP and noticed that ESPN there provided a live radio feed for the game. So I thought that was better than nothing. Well I hit that and lo and behold not only was there a radio feed but a live telecast in a split screen.
One screen had the game and the other, smaller showed the sidelines of the coaches. Now it wasn’t full screen but I got to see the game, replays, everything and no commercials, absolute live network feed. Best part, I didn’t have to pay for it.
So there is a way to use the ESPN app probably on some games and enjoy it.
