I was under the impression that Levin was in control of his own destiny with the tv venture. Apparently, that was a mistake on my part. But, Levin and Beck have been cozy with regard to their relationship/friendship, even though they may approach conclusions differently, so the marriage of their platforms didn’t surprise me.
Over the weekend I wanted to see the Alabama game but since I cut the cord I thought I might not since it was on ESPN.
Well I have ROKU and the ESPN app on that, but if you don’t have a cable provider you can’t use it or so I thought.
I was looking at the APP and noticed that ESPN there provided a live radio feed for the game. So I thought that was better than nothing. Well I hit that and lo and behold not only was there a radio feed but a live telecast in a split screen.
One screen had the game and the other, smaller showed the sidelines of the coaches. Now it wasn’t full screen but I got to see the game, replays, everything and no commercials, absolute live network feed. Best part, I didn’t have to pay for it.
So there is a way to use the ESPN app probably on some games and enjoy it.
Yes I know that. Levin, btw, not Levinson. Mark Levin in a Tweet clarified he had no control over the deal. He doesnt own the network.
One 12/3/18 Levin Tweeted this :
...CRTV issued the following correction to the Hollywood Reporter story:
Mark Levin and Glenn Beck did not merge. CRTV and TheBlaze merged. Mr. Levin does not hold management authority in CRTV...
