There are 2 choices, require Air BNB folks to meet all the same regulations that every other rental is required to meet, or remove the regulations every other rental is required to meet.

The idea you can be some special case is nonsense. I have ZERO sympathy for someone who decides, Oh, I want to run a little quick cash side business, but then thinks they don’t have to follow the rules everyone else in that business is forced to require.

You really want to find to lower the regulation for the entire rental industry, that’s fine, I’ll happily help you, but you think you are some special case? BS... Same is true for Uber and Lyft and any other things... you want to be a taxi, fine, meet all the regulations that taxi companies must meet.

If you find the regulation too much, the fight to lower them for everyone, but don’t think you are some sort of special case.
