But before we get to that, an explanation of how these rankings were compiled is in order. In last year’s list of the top conservative sites, we calculated the average of rankings from Quantcast, SimliarWeb, and Alexa. This year, we decided not to use Quantcast because a significant number of websites in our category are not quantified there.
Alexa’s rankings are based on “a combined measure of Unique Visitors and Pageviews” over a three month period. SimilarWeb is less forthcoming about what they’re measuring, but according to this post at Quora, “rankings are determined by traffic monthly visits (non-unique).”
I get it...
“a combined measure of Unique Visitors and Pageviews” over a three month period.
CLICKBAIT sites always get suck in visitors and does not mean the site is conservative
Drudge is not conservative but definitely number one on top sites. My first five sites each day and frequently, in no particular order, FR, Drudge, Breitbart, The Hill, and Fox.

On those rare occasions when Free Republic is down, the internet is dead to me.
For goodness sake. FreeRepublic is the only place to start. I never visit any conservative sites without checking in with FR first. And I only visit other conservative sites via FR posts and comment links.
Yes, many times. And how do you know he has been offered money? By whom and how much?
Free Republic is the gold standard
Drudge - haven't been there since 2002.
Redstate - Surprised they still have a presence after Eric the Red ruined it.
Bab Bee is humor, right? Never been there.
The Blaze - really?
I have visited most of these and find that FR has the broadest and most informative content. Keep up the good work Jim and all Freepers!

The Liberty Daily just barely made it. Hah. Echo chambers need to be discouraged.
Yep.
Sites change over time. World Net Daily and Newsmax used to be must-reads. Today? Not so much.
Breitbart and Daily Caller are must-reads now, but these and most others really require some script-blocking on your browser.
INFOWARS, NewsWars are my go to sites after FR.
Alex Jones is the ONLY radio show that I regularly (almost everyday) listen to. I have religiously (in the past) listened to Rush, Glenn Beck, Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Levin (sparingly).
If (you) don’t check out INFOWARS/NewsWars and the Alex Jones radio show (video broadcast as well) (you) are UNINFORMED!
It’s okay to be ignorant. It’s America after all.
FR and 20 or so I follow on Twitter and Im informed without having to wade through the fake news sewage.
+1 on both of those. Especially r/The_Donald.
And to Hades with Drudge.
There are maybe 15 in the entire list.
Drudge and NR hasn’t been Conservative in a long time.
What about:
lewrockwell.com
Mises.org
Fee.org
billwhittle.com
????????????????????
“What the hell is Drudge doing there?’
A few years ago, I worked as Sales Manager for a company in South San Francisco whose CFO was Matt Drudge’s uncle. He was a flaming liberal, so it’s not surprising that Matt has finally gone over to the other side.
