[[Just tell the guy you refuse to sell. If he doesnt leave, call the cops and press for trespassing.]]
Can’t do that because it’s discrimination- if you could, then the bakers could have done that- but by law they couldn’t-
There’s no laws that protect discrimination based on politics. Sexual orientation does. If somebody doesn’t like your politics they don’t have to sell to you.
The problem is that there’s a false belief that religion & politics have nothing to do with each other. Just because we don’t allow the Church to run the government, or vice versa, doesn’t mean laws do not encroach into theological issues.
The division in this country is becoming dangerous because I can be fired for my political beliefs, even if I can’t because I’m a Christian. The left is making the distinction non-existent, their politics has become purely anti-Christian. Those that wish to destroy the USA are doing this by design.
The main issue here is for the owner, to allow this is broadcasting that Trump voters aren’t welcome at their store. The moron employee should have known he’d get fired - don’t bring your own intolerant bigotry to work. I’ve realized that “hateful bigot” is the first thing that should be said to these people, they don’t realize it is they that are guilty of it - not those they’re pointing a finger at.
That was a statute of a state "human rights" commission in Colorado. Not necessarily applicable in Georgia.
