The eventual Democrat nominee will pull out of the race with four weeks till the election. The DNC will recruit Hillary to replace the candidate. She will say no, but the recruitment effort will be so great by the American people, she will turn into the reluctant warrior, here to save the country.
With 4 weeks left, no need to travel around the country campaigning. No need to debate.
That’s the only way Hillary will ever be President. And it is possible it will play out this way.

I can’t picture one of the Democratic candidates, who are pure ego personified, ever pulling out of anything. They would have to be dead. Of course, there have been an astonishing number of deaths that were fortuitous for Hillary. Still, by a few weeks from the election, and after the debates, the Democratic candidate will have Secret Service protection. That means the accidents that seem so common for people who know something that could be bad for Hillary won’t do. It would have to be something like a plane crash that kills not only the candidate but plenty of associates, agents and the press. Even that would be hard to arrange.
On the other hand, I suspect that by 2020 Hillary’s health will be so bad that even without campaigning and debates, she won’t be able to perform adequately to attract any votes.
On a side note, We The People, are better off for the many, many candidates that will be fielded by the Democrats. They will cut, stab and hack at each other until they have little or no blood left. Then, they will face The Donald.
Your hypothesis is flimsy.
I suspect that Hillary will try to get in somehow.. it would depend on the amount of blowback she gets when she starts making noises.
Her chitchat tour is designed to measure that blowback. March and April of next year are critical times for the whole crowd on the democRATS side and she can bomb throw from her scripted pulpit to her brainwashed following. She can screech “See look at how crazy they are...” without having to get into the ring with them
