Wasn’t the farm owner a County Republican Chairman or something like that and had to resign, if I remember correctly. I think I also remember that the farm owner didn’t use the e-verify system.
Yes. Yarrabee Farm dairy is owned by the prominent Lang family. They first tried to say they used e-verify but then had to admit they didn’t or some such hooey. Bottom line, they lied and knew he and the rest of their employees are illegal. They give their employees housing, too. A neighbor said it was a “revolving door” of illegals working and living there. Probably the same at other dairies around there. Haven’t heard of ICE doing raids, sigh.

Yes, he is a Republican. He claimed he used e-verify but who knows what ID he ran through it. I think I remember the guy had fake documents. Maybe using another name?
Lang is a big GOP donor. His farm claimed to use E-verify but when called on it admitted that they just made sure the SSN was a real one. The farm was checked out by Immigration in September, but nothing made public.
