Consider, say, a Lutheran who is living in Sweden. He’ll tell you that he’s a Swedish Lutheran. Now consider a Muslim who is living in Sweden. He’ll tell you that he is a Muslim, period.

Sweden’s only hope is for the factions to continue to fail to form a government, resulting in new elections in January, and if the Sweden Democrats gain enough seats where they MUST become part of the governing coalition.

The only real and permanent solution is one that neither the Swedish people nor their cowardly politicians will ever employ, which is simply to invite every follower of “The Prophet” to gather their belongings and leave the country within, say, 48 hours. Any who remain thereafter would be apprehended, shackled, and escorted to waiting aircraft destined for the Middle East. Following their eviction, any found within the borders of Sweden in the future would immediately be arrested, shackled, and placed on the next flight to the Middle East.

What the multiculti social planners were attempting was to replenish a dwindling tax base for their welfare state; what they got was unassimilable and a net drain on that state. Milton Friedman stated the impossibility of having both open borders and a welfare state and is being proven correct. Immigration control in favor of the productive and the assimilable is, for some reason that completely escapes me, derided as unacceptable - what will fail is the welfare state, this in the face of population with its own cultural identity and a penchant for violence. That is very unlikely to end happily.
A close reading of the article reveals no estimate of how many of these immigrants are currently there - we see that 2% of the population was imported in a single year, but nothing beyond that. The reason is that nobody knows. The folly of the Social Democrats extended to the insistence that it was unfairly discriminatory even to count them. And since Sweden is a Schengen country, once the immigrants are in the EU, there's no practical way to count them anyway.
So what does any progressive social engineer do when he finds his arrows flying wide of the mark as badly as all of this? Why, he simply moves the target. We are now told that ghettos are really a good thing, a sign of a desirable diversity of society instead of the blight of imported poverty. The elites don't care because it doesn't touch them; the middle class who it does touch are not considered worthy of consultation, and the poor, resentful, and violent grow inexorably in number.
