What is damning is that Raytheon built a terrorist and refugee proof border wall around Yemen for Saudi Arabia about a decade ago ... and refuses to bid on the current US border wall project, considering it racist.

In that light, their 2005-2006 timeframe project of building the open sensor pylon wall means they’ve either:
A. done an about face on their own country’s security
B. they know such open monitored borders don’t work worth a damn and that’s why they built it.

Raytheon probably has to tread lightly around politically sensitive projects. They depend on the the good graces of the politicians in power for most of their business.

The Board of Directors would smack down any corporate officer who pissed off one of the major political parties.

The border wall is the most politically radioactive project in a long time.
