I think they will do Tecate the way they did Calexico.
First, they will do one side of the Port of Entry out to the end of town, then they will come back later with a new contract award for the other side of town.
Both towns look to be getting the thirty foot bollards.
The West side of Calexico was the first segment done under President Trump. The East side was recently awarded. Work starts in a few months.
Yuma recently got a pretty big award (something like 20-25 miles), but I’m not sure how big that stuff will be.
2019 is going see more barrier being built, and the benefits of the first round starting to show.
If the President pulls off what he was talking about today (500 - 550 total miles before the election), he will have done great work indeed.
