I rarely trust any charity as it seems most of the money goes to pay big salaries to those at the top.

If you want to donate for wounded warriors do at to Gary Senice’s (spelling) organization tunnels to towers, wounded warriors has had problems with where funds were going Gary does EXCEPTIONAL work for our warriors!!!
Yes, the Salvation Army has the best record.
The Salvation Army gets my one major donation per year. During WWII they would meet the returning boats filled with military in the UK and hand out tea, doughnuts, blankets. The Red Cross handed out tea and doughnuts, too, but charged a sixpence. Got this from two Umcles who served in that war. Not too many soldiers returning from the front had pockets of loose change so the Salvation Army was appreciated.
