You have a link

I can’t find it

His Irish family line Lynch were in Shipping on the River Plate

I don’t see American ancestors

I’ve read a lot on Ché

Starting with his war journal which frankly was an interesting read admittedly

I was friends in Miami with 2506 people including several still active and one executed in the early 90s so I was under no illusion about Guevara but no question what a wild life

He was pretty doctrinaire Marxist

Che’s grandparents were from California:

Paragraph 2 from the link below

Apparently they were first in shipping in Ireland, then got into yacht building.

Because Argentina long ago was known as the up-and-comer nation expected to grow very rich, they moved the biz to Argentina, after which Che’s liberal dad ran it into the ground.

There was still enough wealth left, though, for them to purchase a ranch in order to grow Yerba Mate, an herb yielding a stimulating tea.

But again, like a liberal, Che’s dad managed to run that into the ground, also.

So Che ended up sort of middle-class, instead of rich, had his father hadn’t been so incompetant.

In Argentina there were Euros sympathetic to Hitler during the war. They’d get together in Che’s town and listen on the radio to Hitler stuff:

Che’s liberal, biz-bungling dad climbed up on the roof of the building where they gathered to do that and destroyed the antenna.

He also slashed all their tires before making his getaway.
