On the other hand its good for the Enemies of American Freedoms to UNDERSTAND CLEARLY what will likely happen to them if they get TOO stupid and arrogant.
Oh, these lefties will continue to try to stab America in the back quietly but there’s an old adage :
“When every other Secret Policeman who tries to kick in a door in the middle of the night gets a shotgun blast to the face, pretty soon there are no more secret policeman.”

“Americans wont Tolerate Tyrants”

If they'd tried to do that to the whole city of Waco, the entire region would have resisted with deadly force. Maybe if they had surrounded Waco and begin an assault, but we will never know for sure. What we do know is they confined Boston to their homes and went door to door hunting for those two kids after they set off their bomb, no one complained, as I recall.
The point is they will never make such an attack on a major city, they won't have to, they will slowly paint their targets as worse than the plague and your neighbors will help them.
Every action TV show refuses to have Muslim terrorists, they must be white militia that needs subdued. The old TV show 24 started with Muslim terrorists but next season they had to have white traitors attacking the US. Propaganda works.

"I find it ironic that someone so concerned with gun rights would voluntarily move to a country where there are ... none."
"It wasnt that the United States was bad. It wasnt that China was so great. It was that there were so many things about my life in America that I just took for granted. That I no longer paid attention to them. I thought that everyone in the world lived this kind of life. I was used to the bars on my cage. I was comfortable with the chains around my ankles. I thought that the cleanliness of the handcuffs was a sign of being a good citizen
This included such things as always looking down at my speedometer when I noticed a police car.
This included watching what I would say so that someone wouldnt be offended. This included making sure that I would stock up on beer before Sunday, because the stores couldnt sell on that day. This included having to show two forms of ID to cash my paycheck. This included being careful not to have HR get angry over what is on my desk at work. This included such things as undressing when you took a plane, and having to pee in a cup at a new job.
They were all little things. These were things that I just adapted to. They were things that I took for granted. Much like Pavlovs dog.
When they were no longer part of my life, it was as if a big cloud was lifted off of my shoulders. It is precisely that moment of enlightenment that is significant. It is precisely that feeling, and those emotions, relative to my move that I would like to discuss.
It is only through my travel that I became aware of this."

You must live behind enemy lines to have such neighbors. It's exactly the opposite where I live. In fact, in my region of the country, folks would be more likely to paint targets on the homes of liberals and other pro-tyranny types.
Bottom line - I think you're buying into an apocalyptic vision that will never come to pass. At least not in this country. Americans are simply not going to roll over and succumb to government confiscation of arms like you think they will. Not by a long shot.

No question things have changed in the USA. And not for the better.
But I’m staying and fighting to make things better. And I’m working on my shooting range once the snow melts off the mountain I live on.
Montana is great for gun rights. China ... not so much.
Merry Christmas, FRiend.

I have been waiting 50 years for these staunch supporters of the Constitution to actually support the Constitution. Wake up half the voters voted for socialism and if Hillary had not stole the primary we might well have elected a communist President.

Wake up half the voters voted for socialism and if Hillary had not stole the primary we might well have elected a communist President. You have a perfect right to abandon all hope in your fellow countrymen if you like, but I won't follow you into that deep pit of despair.
When it was crunch time in the mid 1770s, only 3% of Americans showed up to fight, while only a third of the colonists fully supported the Revolution.
The percentage of patriots and heroes is even greater today, so I'd say we're in pretty good shape to rumble - should it come to that.
Merry Christmas, friend.

When the balloon goes up, kill a bureaucrat per day until done. When that starts happening, you can be sure there will plenty of outraged folk here on FR. Many of us though, will be quietly applauding.

Yes....Great book. I read it twice. If anyone wants to look it up and buy it, be prepared for the price! It has been out of print for some time and the last time I looked for a friend a used copy was going for over $200.00! After that experience I put my copy with my guns in the sfae. Isn't it interesting that a book in such obviously high demand is out of print, and almost unavailable? I downloaded a PDF copy some time back and converted it to an EPUB so it's easier to read on my book reader. Unfortunately, a lot of artifacts cropped up when I did that. I need to sit down some time with my PDF editor and correct it all.

It is available legitimately here https://stlccw.com/product/unintended-consequences-softcover/I've never seen actual legitimate copies of Unintended Consequences on sale that weren't secondhand. The site above you mentioned even has autographed copies. WooHoo! I've had a pirated download of it for several years. Will be purchasing a copy now. Thanks.

Do you just plain like firearms? Or do you support the American 2nd Amendment in principle? If so, do check out this BOLD new website before they censor it: https://GunDynamics.com
