Now is the time for the president to make a nationally televised speech and pound the point home about the need for protecting our borders and putting Schmucky and all of Congress on notice for their negligence on this issue.
Should have done that a VERY long time ago. But I’ll take it now. An oval office address in DEFINITELY in order.
I agree that now is an opportune time for Pres Trump to speak to the American citizens about the whole issue of the necessity for the US to have this wall built for the preservation of their Republic. I would like to have him point out,in some detail of the facts, the many wars and conflicts world wide, that our military have fought and died in, to protect other countries from invaders that violated their borders. This border is not just a symbol. It is a barrier that will work with other security measures to protect the American citizens from illegal entry into their country. Without a border, the US is not a sovereign country. The elected leaders of this country do not own, or have any right to give this land away to whoever or whatever suits their political or personal whims or intentions. If Pres Trump is prevented or denied the right to defend the US borders, there will be no need for further elected anybody to any office. We will become as nomadic and tribal as other parts of the world. No govt for or by the people. Only waring factions with continuous bloodshed by the strongest tyrant. God bless Pres Trump for standing up for America.
