Impractical.

An Escalator requires electricity which is generally unavailable at the places illegals cross the border.

A better idea is to build the illegals a few trebuchets.

Then all you have to do is teach the illegals to tuck and role and launch them over the wall. QED

To put an escalator to help the ILLEGALS get over the wall you'd need to build it in Mexico. How are you going to build it? You going to trespass into Mexico? On our side..the EPA might say it will endanger the American Desert Wildcat, so it'll be tied up for a few 100 years...😁
