Lyndon Johnson came to our campus electioneering and said he would not send our boys to fight for a country (Vietnam) that wouldn’t defend themselves. That pretty much got him elected and then he did just the opposite. The same question could be asked today about Syria and Afghanistan.
By the way. After he broke that promise I haven’t voted for a Democrat since then.
If John Bolton can't come up with a plausible reason for a particular military intervention, it's time to end it.
That is why Trump was elected. He thinks outside of the box. Those wanting to work for him ought to know that by now before going in.
So we don’t need to be in Syria.
This is exactly how I would see a conversation proceeding between a blunt, direct billionaire from New York City and some jackass who spent most of his adult life in Ivy League schools and Beltway think tanks.
It's hard to believe this website is filled with John Bolton apologists.
Indeed ... why don't you ask Jesus to save you ..... right now.
Merry Christmas
Reminds me of Proverbs 18:17, the first to present his case seems right until questioned.
The blood and pain of our sons and daughters mean nothing to the Swamp and neo-cons. But, our sons and daughters mean the world to us. They mean quite a lot to POTUS, too.
Backer of the al Qaeda Syrian “rebels”McCain must be turning in his grave.
the other day Michael Medved was whining about Trump pulling out of Syria. His argument was that “only” a small number of US troops had been killed, so why not stay?
Why? was the question Bolton could not answer.
Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights)
Stephen Miller is the man, whether immigration or foreign affairs. What makes him so effective is his considered beliefs and the fire in his belly to sell his position. What a refreshing respite from the RINO Swamp creatures.
President Trump is delivering on another campaign promise.
I wish every politician would deliver on their campaign promises.
Plus, imho, it’s good foreign policy.

Talibanthe word means “student”filter south from Pakistan, where they are trained from childhood to memorize the Koran and to “master” Islam. We also have a large presence to modernize Afghanistanif that’s possible. The US thinks it is possible, hence our presence.
When I was in the service, many of our military died on our Allies’ roadways drunksometimes killing innocents in the process. Others died on motorcycles.
Afghanistan is, at least, an honorable assignmentwith risks our warriors soberly acknowledge.
