I have a woman friend I travel with since hubby is disabled and won’t go anywhere. There are a lot of places I would like to go but won’t. We’re very selective about where we go. We just got back from Hawaii and I think our next trip will be to Scotland or Ireland. After that we’re looking at a trip to a few of the islands around Italy. Researching them now. If it doesn’t seem safe enough we won’t go.
If I manage to take any long-haul trips to places I haven’t been before, they won’t be to anywhere in the developing world. I haven’t been to eastern Canada, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland and similar non-backward savage infested places.
