Gonna be a long, long time before that happens. The majority of Republicans in the Senate are Bush-league, Chamber-of-Commerce Cheap Labor Express lovin' types.

Well it seems Trump ain’t budging till he gets the funding.

Flake, Corker, Hatch, Heller, Alexander, Graham, McCain, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio voted for the last amnesty attempt and Rubio, Murkowsky, Hoeven and McCain were re-elected after that.
Flake will be replaced by a Democrat.
Heller will be replaced by a Democrat.
Hatch will be replaced by Mitt Romney.(same thing)
The only bright spot is Blackburn in for Corker.
Alexander is quitting.
Graham should be replaced, but will probably be re-elected and push amnesty as soon as the election is over.
If Trump would call for citizen support on this, There would be millions marching on DC and every state Capital.
Maybe if they don’t stand up for America, the Trump base votes democrat in 2020 and that’s the end of the republican party. They’ll never be in power again, and that’s what these swamp creatures crave, power.
Flake just voted no on procedure to advance the bill.
I’m not a licensed mental health professional but I’d say at this point its almost psychotic with Flake’s whatever re: Trump.

As mentioned, this is why it passed the House so easily. Trump needs to shut the government down and hammer Congress. Affiliation aside, he needs to assert the fact that he stands alone for the country and will sign no funding for anything until he gets his border wall.
I figured he would.
It’s a ruse as old as the hills.
The GOP passed the bill overwhelmingly because the RINOs all knew the senate would not pass it.
Now here the same thing can happen in the Senate.
All the GOPe who do not really want it can vote for it knowing full well that it won’t get 60.
It’s like Obamacare repeal.
They voted to repeal it over and over when they knew it could not happen, but when they had the house, senate and WH the rinos didn’t repeal it, didn’t have the votes when it was real.
What is all this funding crap for?
I just had the same thought last night.
It may be time for a general strike nationwide.
Nothing else is working.

For something this important, I say bribe ‘em by adding pork to the bill. Manchin, Collins, Murkowski and perhaps a democrat or two could be bought for the right earmark or whatever it is called.
Or it is time for the President of the Senate to use his authority, and overrule weak cowardly McConnell.
I really think the Swamp believes that Trump’s going to blink.

If you’re a republican in Arizona, please make sure Flake is never nominated for anything again. If Collins votes against this I’ll campaign for anyone who runs against her in 2020.
