Good analogy. Democrats and liberals will keep her in office until she can be replaced by another liberal judge. That would have to happen after 2020 which is two years from now. Can she survive that long? And the assumption is that Trump and the Senate Republicans will lose in 2020.

And all of the unruly yelling and screaming behavior during the Kavanaugh hearings was a threat that a lot worse will happen if the Republicans and Trump nominate a conservative to replace Ginsburg.

It will not be pretty and the leftists might even resort to violence and threats of impeachment of confirmed judges. They will try everything legal and even illegal.

In 1999, Ginsburg was diagnosed with colon cancer; she underwent surgery that was followed by chemotherapy and radiation therapy. During the process, she did not miss a day on the bench.[106] Ginsburg was physically weakened by the cancer treatment, and she began working with a personal trainer. Since 1999, Bryant Johnson, a former Army reservist attached to the Special Forces, has trained Ginsburg twice weekly in the justices-only gym at the Supreme Court.[107][108] In spite of her small stature, Ginsburg saw her physical fitness improve since her first bout with cancer; she was able to complete 20 full push-ups in a session before her 80th birthday.[107][109]

On February 5, 2009, she again underwent surgery, this time for pancreatic cancer.[110][111] Ginsburg had a tumor that was discovered at an early stage.[110] She was released from a New York City hospital on February 13 and returned to the bench when the Supreme Court went back into session on February 23, 2009.[112][113][114] On September 24, 2009, Ginsburg was hospitalized in Washington DC for lightheadedness following an outpatient treatment for iron deficiency and was released the following day.[115]

On November 26, 2014, she had a stent placed in her right coronary artery after experiencing discomfort while exercising in the Supreme Court gym with her personal trainer.[116][117]

On November 8, 2018, she was hospitalized after fracturing three ribs in a fall in her office at the Supreme Court.[118] A day later it was reported that Ginsburg had returned to official judicial work after a day of observation.[119][120]

On December 21, 2018, she had surgery for cancerous nodules in her lungs that were found after a CT scan of her ribs following her previous fall.

If this was a conservative Justice, the DemoKKKrat Media would be SCREAMING for her to resign.

There would be a 48 hour/14 day a week [they'd double normal time] screamfest about "appearances".

The Rule of Law in this country is dead when Ruth Bader Corpseburg's Lefty-Communist law clerks are voting her Supreme Court seat for her.

There are now at least 4, maybe more threads announcing the news that RBG has survived a lung cancer operation.

I have no opinion on her recent operation, I just hope the next one comes quickly and fails.

Merry Christmas Ernestine.

They removed the wrong tumor. Missed the giant one in her head.

Driver! To the hospital, quickly! “Rebook her, Dano”.
