"I thin Turkey is going to hit the Kurds because of the Kurds who have been fighting for independence. Anyone who is willing to sacrifice 2,000 American lives raise your hands."

The Russians tried that earlier this year. How did that work out for them?

Per this article, it was 500 of them against 40 of ours. The end total, American deaths 0, enemy deaths, estimated 200 - 300. You think Turkey knows about this?

I think there is no reason to allow the deaths of more of our warriors. We have left arm, legs, and shattered lives all over the Middle East.

The congress made it impossible for the US Saudie relationship and the possibilities of the Sunnies stepping in. They got what they wanted. First the Turks could not be wrong they are NATO allies and now suddenly the Turks are wrong.

I was never convinced we were on the right side in Syria. The Syrian Kurds need to relocate to Kurdish region of Iraq until the civil war is over

40 Americans with massive arty support from what I read. The Russian mercenary light infantry got caught out in the open. Attacking a small combined arms force dug in on a ridgeline with a 1-dimensional force is the height of military incompetence. Brave men though.
