In my opinion, if you work for the government, in any capacity, you should lose your right to vote during the time you work for government. If you work for government you are conflicted. Not only should you not get to vote, but you should be 100% precluded from campaigning, contributing to campaigns, or having anything to do with the electoral process - on penalty of loss of your job, immediately, with no recourse. The only exception should be the military - who put their lives on the line to protect our right to vote and live in freedom, and thus should have every right to be fully represented in the electoral process.

We’ve created a swamp of self-perpetuating bureaucrats and government workers who have a huge conflict of interest that should always preclude them from contributing in any way to the electoral process.
