Possible scenario...
13 year old girl has fantasy issues about sex... I mean, thinking on a more emotional level and not truly understanding the physical... When reality hits in the case of actual contact this particular girl did tell Mom and Dad, who contacted the police....
Not making excuses for the girl. Young boys are drawn into physical relationships as well because they can be thinking emotionally while the other person is using that as a foil to get the physical relationship going.
In this day and age, there are still those young folks who truly do not have a clue about the reality of sexual contact until it’s too late.
I had been sexually abused at a younger age and in my minds eye, the sexual act was totally separated from the emotional act. I can remember being that young and thinking kissing was the actual sex act of married couples. I guess it was a way of survival thinking at the time.
Known several girls and boys sexually abused and it seems the hook for the sexual aggressor was the emotion....
Sad. Anyway, just a thought.
