Too stupid to understand. It is going over half million per hour this morning. But, why stop being a defeatist when you can show how stupid you are.
While I am all for private funding (hell any funding) of the wall...
can this work??
I suppose it could on private land owned by people willing to have the wall built, but what about government land or land owned by people against it? (something tells me there are not many of those types of people)
There is a bill on the table right now to turn this money into bonds... similar to the war bond movement of WWII!

If the rules turn out that the pledges can’t be accepted then POTUS should instruct the IRS to include a line in the 2018-1040 to transfer the amounts to the wall fund. Much like the Campaign contribution line.

I think it is mostly symbolic. But what a symbol! The money will probably be refunded at some point, but I hope there is a mechanism that can designate it to the construction. Maybe we need to pay a contractor or contractors and then stand guard against those trying to stop us from building it (EPA etc.) I bet Border Patrol would just stand back and watch. I gave to the cause and it felt GOOD. Like I was shoving the issue into Pelosi and Schumer’s face.
At that point, use the money for bounties placed on the heads of the Deep Staters.

Trump may be ready to allow the shutdown. Apparently he got the message from his supporters that selling out isn’t a strategy for victory.
I would think that the money, depending on how the fundme was set up could be used to build the wall on private land were possible.
I can’t see a reason this could be stopped.

The money will be refunded minus the “tip.” Otherwise they would be in quite deep legal hot water I would think. You can’t just take off with other people’s money. Even so, it was worth it to me either way.
