Michelle Obama’s footwear is causing a fashion frenzy, after the former first lady sported sparkling $4,000 designer boots.
The “Becoming” author stepped out in the eye-catching pair of Balenciaga boots on Wednesday at a Brooklyn stop on her nationwide book tour. Former “Sex and the City” star and fashion designer Sarah Jessica Parker served as the celebrity guest moderator for the chat about Obama’s best-selling memoir.
The gold, thigh-high boots retail for $3,800, and several sizes were sold out or low in stock on at least one site selling them after Obama's appearance.

The current first lady has also drawn attention for her footwear. Last year, Melania Trump's press office slammed the media for focusing on her high heel shoes as she boarded Air Force One to head to Texas to visit areas damaged by Hurricane Harvey.
In a headline, The Mirror called the stiletto-style shoes the "most inappropriate clothes imaginable."
Stephanie Grisham, Trump's communications director, said in a statement to CNN at the time, "It's sad that we have an active and ongoing natural disaster in Texas, and people are worried about her shoes."
Grisham also knocked the press for another instance of homing in on what Trump was sporting on her feet in a CNN op-ed last week, writing, "When Mrs. Trump invited children from a local Boys and Girls club to help plant vegetables in the White House garden, the media chose to focus on the cost of her shirt and the fact that her shoes were clean."
Good lord, it’s like Judy The Frog from HR Pufnstuf on steroids. That’s some serious gaudiness for a 50 year old woman to be wearing. It would look silly but forgivable on a teen or twenty-something, here it’s just bizarre.

And she deserves those $4k boots, what with all she’s had to put up with, for this stupid country, thinks she.
Then I looked at them. Good Lrd, there are hookers on Hollywood Blvd who’d turn those down. Ugh.
It looked way better on the original trout.
I believe this woman has been unjustly savaged for the looks and figure she was born with. But her fashion choices often merit scorching criticism.
Her choices and her facial EXPRESSION, though, are hers.
You joke, but there is some truth to it. And she could influence her friends and hangers on. She could say, “I love some boots that cost $4k. But I don’t need them. I will buy these excellent boots for $400 (still quite pricy!) and use the $3600 to give to a town in Africa where they will have enough food for weeks.” Her friends will follow suit.
But that’s not her.
The Obongos And clintonites are doing these so called tours in order to keep their base engaged with the party.....with Hollywood happy to host these.
Oh, come ON! NOBODY would look good in that get-up! Having said that, do you recall the trendy “fashions” of the late 60’s and early 70’s? The fact that, apparently, copies of her outfit are flying off the shelves, shows how some sheeple think. (And MY fashion faux pas in the 60’s and 70’s, can be attributed to the foolishness of my young age, though platform shoes didn’t grab my attention). What’s Michelle’s excuse?

A sane woman with that figure would dress modestly, in colors, fabrics and styles that are very unnoticeable. So hideous it’s way, way beyond hideous. Ghastly, hideous, ugly, unbecoming, unseemly, vile and puke inducing, a whole nother universe of hideous.
It doesn’t even look human any more.
I want to know how Melania can walk across the lawn in spike heels! When I do that, the spikes sink into the ground. Of course, I’m guessing the White House turf isn’t full of weeds and bare spots, like my lawn is...

If someone with Michelle’s original looks (before all the plastic surgery) was a nice, kind, compassionate and honest person, she would and could look pleasant and even somewhat attractive. She would have a pleasant expression and manners, and dress modestly and appropriately.
The real short one was pwned by REGGIE Love.
Well, she has no control over that. But, yeah, I know she’s a lefty.
LOL - now that’s a different subject...
So what has Mike ever done other than spending other peoples money?
