If neither Mexico nor Congress is going to fund President Donald Trump's border wall, then Brian Kolfage has a more expedient plan: GoFundMe.

It’s actually been averaging a qtr of a mil per hour for the last 24. If that continues, The goal of 1 Bil will be met by August.
Before I donate, what’s with the 10% tip? Service charge?
It's the fact that in just 4 short days, Americans have ponied up nearly $5,000,000 freaking bucks. That is a clear indicator that Americans, after 35 years lying con-jobs and lip service from deceptive political posers, do not want or need any further border conversation/debate.
The tip is adjustable down to 0%. I gave 5 on 100.
Why shouldn’t they charge——they are a .com business?
.
It’s like throwing the tea in the harbor way back when. The symbolism matters more than the practical effect.
Done! Skin in the game.
You're worried about that??
What is the total cost to the tax payers for these government sponsored violent lawless open borders in the past 30 years? 800 billion? More?
It’s going to go over $5M before lunch is over!
Preview before posting would show that. Just one HTML will
mess up the entire article if HTML isn’t used thru out.
The record collected by GoFundMe for any single entity was $21.5 mil for TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund and that was over many months.
That record should be broken in the next few days.
When the Leftists at GoFundMe shut this down for being unAmerican (because it doesn’t stir the Globalists), do people get their lunch money back?
What a beautiful family.
And sometimes the HTML is embedded in the article.
Then you have to hunt it down and remove it.
The open question now is can some Federal Judge tell Trump he can’t spend the money on the wall?
It’s a good cause, but I don’t think people realize how big $5 billion is.
A magnificent gesture that is all in vain. It’s not that government does not have the money. BILLIONS are going to Mexico and South America as we speak. Swamp Government does not want the wall and even if built, it will be left to rot and be undermanned and underfunded when the Swamp gets back the Presidency.
Good point! And I hope people will get a little federal budget math lesson from this.
Currently the total at the GFM is nearly $5M. That's a huge response for 3 days. But it translates to only 0.5% of the $1B goal.
When Congress authorizes $10.5B to help the economies of Central America (rots o' ruck with THAT!) and doesn't cough up $5B for NATIONAL SECURITY, we can see how POORLY they represent the will of the people.
We are a sovereign Nation and the response to this GoFundMe effort has been overwhelming. Sure! the GFM is a long way from reaching the goal - but that's the math lesson.
It's not so much about the dollars raised though. It's more about the enthusiastic response (people actually giving money, not just blowing smoke) and the rapid growth of the fund. The rate of participation is accelerating. More and more people are making a CLEAR STATEMENT of their intent to protect the border - and their disappointment in the politician's failure to do so.
Please consider giving to this! (and pass the word!)
Starting to read about examples of private funding of government projects. Nation parks/monument restoration and I seem to remember something about the google boys and moffet field. I would be willing to bet there are some big $$ contributors watching how this develops and when they play this could quite possibly hit the goal. I am going to drop a few bucks to help with the message but I am in for more if this can turn real
