1968 in France marked the closing of all universities and the end of serious learning. The country sank into a quasi socialist mediocrity from which it has yet to emerge. There is not one generally respected university in France even today.

That is the price society pays when it lets its idiot children try to run the show.

“There is not one generally respected university in France even today.”

We’re following suit. You can get a degree from Harvard (Michelle) on the basis of an incoherent thesis.

But, if you are a straight-A student and a perfect SAT,
but your surname is Sung, or Wong, or Chiang, you can’t get admitted.
