...One of the problems with being in the military now is that they don’t have any projects - aka, wars - rght now and it all gets into the self-maintenance of rearguard officers. At least this would give them a project to work on and something for which they will be accountable.

BTW, Rush was embarrassing today as he took the drive-by BS and ranted for an entire monologue before admitting it made no sense. In my house, I had to stop work, go read some articles and some of the cogent posts by people who understand how logistics work and do an intervention before I had a full-blown depressive episode on my hands.
