It wasn’t Glen Beck, it was Mark Levin that did the 9/12 March on Washington in 2010. I know, I was there! And we were estimated to be 100,000 strong!
My husband and I were there as well at that incredible March on Washington on 9/12/09. That only Fox News covered.
Sorry, but -- like it or not -- it was Glenn Beck who got the ball rolling on the 9/12 March. Nothing against Mark Levin, but I don't remember him having anything to do with it.
I'm not a Glenn Beck fan anymore (far from it), but I have to give credit where it's due.
I think there were FAR more than 100,00 in DC on 9/12! And we all cleaned up after ourselves, too. The Mall was left cleaner than we found it. :-)
As I remember it, Glenn Beck came up with the idea of a 9/12 (2009) March on Washington. Then Freedom Works and Tea Party Patriots and other Tea Party groups latched onto his idea. Maybe Levin talked about it at some point, but I’m 99% sure it was Beck who came up with the idea.
