To: Alcibiades

I was a daily listener from the time I found him looking for Gulf War news in 1990 when Saddam invaded Kuwait.
I was in and out of the truck so I didn’t catch it all, but he always struck me as an entertainer first.
He used to be a lot funnier.
I’m not driving every day anymore, so it’s rare that I tune in.

You are right, he carried the water for the Bush League Republicans until it nearly cost him his audience, he has been astute enough to appear to be on the side of the citizens and the rule of law.

I recall Rush promoting NAFTA and denouncing those who opposed.

I have not trusted him since the mid 90s, although I occasionally tune in briefly.
