And Anschutz, being a professing Christian, decided to close the magazine at the height of the Christmas season, and so cause maximum pain to his former employees and their families.
What kind of crappy gossip is that? People get laid off before Christmas all the time, because it coincides with the end of the year.
Brooks has spent too much time drawing money from "charities" like the New York Times and NPR.
