I have a bad feeling about the shutdown. I can easily see Trump saying he’ll get the money out of the Pentagon, but he’s said that before. It’ll just be another dodge. It brings me no pleasure to say this, but it’s not like he hasn’t done it before.
The quislings in the GOP congressional delegation are just too chickensh*t about shutdowns, which means the Democrats always get what they want. This idea that shutdowns are leverage need to be nuked from high orbit, but it’s literally Trump against practically all of the Hill.
He said he would shut it down
