I don't get this.

There are people, here on FR who seem to think Flynn is getting just what he deserves and that the tactics used are just fine and dandy.

Any idiot can see he was completely and deliberately set up with a charge of lying to investigators. That is what this entire plea was about, lying to investigators...this after:

Flynn being told he didn't need a lawyer, intentionally putting him at ease to lure him in
Discussing a LEGAL conversation that they had a transcript on
Agents who said that Flynn showed no signs of dishonesty
302 forms filed seven months after the fact and the refusal to reveal the original 302 forms
The head of the FBI at the time who is knee deep in this openly BRAGS about luring him in unethically.

Unbelievable and disgusting to read these comments here on this forum.

Flynn may be no prize, he may be a jerk in his personal dealings, but for Freepers to say he had this coming is unbelievable. I had no idea we had this number of tyrannical police state advocates here on this forum.

And the judge is another issue altogether.

Also....the Judge has now apologized for his (unbelievable) statement, to Gen Flynn.

Also, I’d like to put out there that nobody is mentioning.

Flynn is/ was a target from the get go. Maybe he lied maybe not, it doesn’t seem like he did. However, the players at the FBI/ DOJ including Obama decided to take him out way before this FBI interview as part of the “insurance” plan.

They were hoping to tie him to the Russian Collusion narrative and if not they knew that Flynn could protect POTUS and fight against the collusion narrative.

And it worked, which is why I think Comey has been so arrogant.
