Trump is not going to be removed from office over this nonsense... and the Democrats are going to face a slaughter in 2020 if they are adamant about going forward with it.

You would think so, but the reality is that the President is not truly a Republican in the GOPe sense. I am sure we could come up with a list of 20 Republican senators who dislike Trump enough to vote for conviction. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real thing among members of both political parties
It startles me not just a little bit, that a lot of Americans put a woman so hypocritical, so mendacious and in my view, so power hungry, they voted her back in as the Democrat Speaker. Nancy Pelosi IS the Deep State. Ms. Pelosi is a politician in spades...she, like most politicians, lies and controls. President Trump on the other hand, is controlled by no one making Ms. Pelosi and her fellow politicians furious...the media also want politicians in power. President Trump deals/leads...he doesn't play games political or otherwise.
