My personal feeling is that he shot him intentionally (suicide) and in the Iranian world....to explain something like this without saying the word suicide....you’d just say it was an accident.
If this had been state-sponsored (carried out by the state’s thugs) then they would not have allowed the story to be published within the country.
Or with respect to the latter, they can always blame unapprehended Israeli spies.
A good Mahometan could never commit suicide if it were not in the context of attacking non-Mahometans.
