#21. No more William Wallace kilts for the men. Now they will have to wear pants with zippers. Oh the horror of it all. (One segment of my wife’s old European ancestors; Charlemagne’s brother Pepin was a direct relative in France).

Scotland has a political mix of commies/socialists, Scotland Uber Alles, and stupid people who are drowning out the great Scottish common man (and woman, must be PC).

And they want to be an independent country?

I went to Scotland back in 2006. I was on a 3 week bus tour of the British Isles, and we visited quite a few places. I really enjoyed Scotland, much better than Ireland.

I download a lot of programs from British torrent sites. Been doing it for years. I've recently been watching a 3 part BBC series called Rise of the Clans. It's presented by Neil Oliver. Part of the reason I watch the programs he presents, is because I love his Scottish brogue. The other reason is that the Brits do great historical documentaries...and of course mysteries.
