If he was cleared, then why isn’t he protected under double jeopardy law?
It probably never went to trial. He was cleared in the investigation.
If he wasn’t formally charged and tried, and then found innocent, then it isn’t double jeopardy...of course, they have no problem with ginning up new charges if the old ones resulted in a “Not Guilty” decision....here’s one that will have Trump’s attention.....
