I remember John Roberts said the tax penalty was necessary for Obamacare to survive. Now that the tax penalty is no more, will John Roberts admit he made a mistake? Will John Roberts say that the federal government has the power to control the health insurance market without the tax penalty?

There are only two things the voters don’t like about Obamacare - the name, and paying for it.
Everything else is overwhelmingly popular, and if it is ever replaced, it will be by nationalization .

At the time of his vote, there was speculation that Roberts had just intentionally sabotaged Obamacare. Was this what he had in mind?

Yep, it will go to the Supreme Court. Kavanagh and Roberts will save it. I’m starting to think K got on the Court just like Roberts, with “obligations”. We’ve got a 5-4 Court alright, just not the 5-4 we expected.
I would understand why it’s not on drugs. I don’t understand why it’s not on Liberty daily. Is this article just ahead of the curve or is their laziness going on or what?

Why would it be appealed? If the Trump DOJ said, “OK, we accept the decision...” then it stands.

This enables the new Congress to jump on this and institute a “new” tax, thus reinstating obamacare.
Unless SCOTUS agrees with the ruling...and now with the turncoat team of Kavanaugh/Roberts...you never know.
