I read it, it’s sensationalist drivel.
It gives the false impression that this is some kind of international incident, it isn’t. Airplanes divert due to technical issues regularly, it’s not a rare event. Yes, it may be the first time a 737 Max has landed in Iran but that’s because the aircraft is so new, not because it’s a boeing. Boeings operate in and out of Iran all the time and airlines perform maintenance on them just like anywhere else. Norwegian’s maintenance department likely has what’s needed in stock already, they just have to fly it down and fix the airplane. The article implies that the passengers can’t leave the airport because the women don’t have head scarves. That’s ridiculous, you can buy a scarf.
The article is poorly written drivel with many stretches of the truth.
