In the mid-eighties when our daughter was a baby we used cornstarch instead of talcum powder. Worked great and was as benign as you could get. Also had no scent. Which is very important in our household.

Don’t delude yourself! I worked for a seed corn company prior to that era and I guarantee your cornstarch was made from evil GMO corn that was mutated with a combination of gene splicing and satanic incantation. I’d watch her carefully, if she starts growing gills run like hell!
