I’ve seen some newspaper articles on this, in LA and SF, in which they said big numbers in each city have thought about moving out.
There is anecdotal evidence, that a few million people have moved out of California in recent years.
And part of their reasoning has been to escape issues such as traffic congestion and high housing prices.

And part of their reasoning has been to escape issues such as traffic congestion and high housing prices. Poor air quality, mediocre water quality, high energy prices, mediocre to poor public schools (except in a few, select locations), ..., pretty much everyday life.

Not to mention the high taxes and the endless number of fees on just about everything.
But, those same people who seek to move out of the high cost of living state, are the same that voted for their high costs, and we don't want them going elsewhere to destroy their future destinations the same way they destroyed California.

My business They build bikeways and trails everywhere. My sport Theres incredible natural hot springs. Free spa Theres the sierras. Best mountains ⛰ So they want to ban straws ?
