Omg, two very young children. I didn’t read the story but must be serious depression in the bipolar level. How horrible that no one could somehow stop her.

I remain disappointed in our allowing freedom for the mentally ill. I revere freedom. But if you can’t mentally handle it, you are at grave risk to yourselves and others. I’m sure she loved those children more than herself and she wasn’t able to put them first. At such a deterioration of mental ability, we need to step in and institutionalize against someone’s will. We need some simple guidelines that should save MOST, and get mentally ill people the help they need. Better she wold have spent the next 6 months in a mental rehab facility and eventually gotten back to her family.

It is a passion of mine. We do them no justice, leaving the mentally ill in “freedom” on the streets or without strong assistance.
