I'm still not sure I buy the narrative that Flynn is a victim here.

Part of me says he was screwed by the DOJ/FBI.

The other part says he was an Obama/Clinton mole who went to work for the Trump campaign specifically to justify the illicit FISA surveillance of the campaign.

I think General Flynn has the basis of a very good counter-suit for damages here. But where does he go to get back his reputation?

Apparently the FBI team was relying on the chaos of the first days in the White House to gain access to persons on an informal basis, then, without warning, hold the persons with whom they had conversations responsible for casual statements, and by artful design, manage to cause them to make apparently contradictory statements, therefore they “lied”.

What a bitchy world. Especially when the standard is applied in a purely arbitrary manner.

Paywall for me so I can’t red the article. I guess, based on the number of replies, many freezers pay the WSJ?

The only way to avoid this is to NEVER talk to law enforcement authorities.

And definitely not without council being present. What was Flynn thinking?

Here is something that needs to be pushed hard: the official 302 on the Flynn interview is not dated until Aug. 2017, more than SIX months after the interview was conducted on Jan. 24, 2017.

Yet, Comey testified that he had read the 302s while he was still FBI Director, and he was fired in May 2017. So whatever he read internally at the FBI before May 2017, was not necessarily what was in the finalized “official” 302 in Aug. 2017.

Was there an earlier “302” for Flynn that McCabe/Strzok later replaced?? Sure seems like it...

WHY did it take so (ridiculously) long, what exactly did Comey read before May 2017 (and he testified to Congress that the FBI did not think Flynn was lying!!!), and who/what/why/how/when did text and information get altered or created for the 302 in Aug. 2017???

The whole think stinks to high heaven, and conservative writers, lawyers, bloggers, leaders need to be all over this. The FBI is dirty.

McCabe, Comey, Strzok, Page, & co. are obviously dirty, but the whole mess needs to be exposed, cleansed, maybe even start over completely with a different agency from ground up.

Perfectly described, yet lacking the essential question: why? Is it a quest for pure power? That evil is its own reward?

But that perspective ignores the patronage the deep state provides to support & protect these departments & agencies. The owners who control the financial/media conglomerates that set the globalist agenda already have as much power & wealth as one can possibly accrue. So what is the motivation for destroying western institutions, including justice and criminal law? (For, as we know, Flynn is simply a mechanism to get at Trump, and Trump himself is merely an obstacle to implementing far reaching demographic and cultural alterations.)

To be honest, I have an issue with the evil perspective. For example, was Sessions truly evil, as on a satanic level? Or, did he believe in a higher, more noble cause, one understood by many in leadership, but which cannot even be revealed to average Americans? There's a reason I keep asking the question why, because we are way, way beyond understanding the mechanics of what transpired.

Comey is bragging that the FBI was able to con Flynn into believing that he and the FBI were friends.

Well, the judge has asked for information from both Flynn and the prosecutors, so at least he is looking into this.

It’s really hard to ascribe motives to what people do.

However, Flynn was which ranking intelligence officer who understood the system and could have easily unraveled a lot the very questionable things that happened under Obama and he had the integrity and guts to go there, which is the reason Obama fired him in the first place

Flynn would have been perfectly placed to destroy the same people Mueller is now protecting for sedition, espionage and possibly even treason, including Mueller himself

IF I ever win a big Lottery, I will buy a house & let Flynn & his family live in it for $1 a year.

But why did they commit treason & sedition? And if it rises to that level, then how is Sessions not complicit? Does he really look like a guy willing to sell out his country for personal gain?

IMO, we still haven't got to the "why". What's the motivation? Why destroy every established institution of criminal justice just to prevent Trump from either winning the election, or then enacting his agenda?

Why is everyone opposed to Trump, including the GOP? Why do they want to transform the demographics? What isn't being said?

If you did that, you would be charged with making a campaign donation to Trump...somehow.

Not after he pleaded guilty, he doesn't.
