Cohen made a deal to plead guilty to some bogus charges in exchange for a lighter sentence. He sold out his client so he wouldn’t go to jail (or get a couple years) for his own crimes. HIS OWN CRIMES.
If you or I did what Cohen did, we both would be facing 10-15 years in jail.
