Our Pack and Troop, with which have been involved for 15 years, are carrying on pretty much as usual.

The 1970s was when much of the sexual abuse occurred.

39 … The 1970s was when much of the sexual abuse occurred.

It's been with BSA since its founding in 1910. Since the 1920s, the BSA has maintained a highly confidential set of "ineligible volunteer" files, nicknamed the "perversion files". You are correct that the current spate of lawsuits against BSA are from abuse incidents during the 1970s.

34 … the development and implementation of the BSA Youth Protection Training program that every registered adult must pass to be registered. BSA requires two deep action when dealing with boys. That is, when contact with boys is conducted, there must always be two leaders in direct involvement.

YPT was introduced into the BSA in 1988. In the 2000s it became mandatory that adult leaders repeat the training every 2 years.
