I weep that the Socialists have managed to destroy a great American organization. They were able to do it by attacking it from within.

No, it was the evil court system, and the evil media-weapon-system.

Those two things were how the vermin got into the BSA. Once they were in, it was predictable what would happen, but if they had been kept out, this wouldn't have happened.

Letting them in is the fault. They could have never destroyed it from within if other forces hadn't pushed the scouts into letting them in.

the “evil court system” is where they get their power. It is a tool, not the cause.

It was always about the $$$. BSA has always operated on a shoestring budget. As the culture-at-large became more infected with cultural Marxism, in this case homosexual civil rights, the pressure increased on local United Way chapters to decrease/ deny grants to local councils. Most local councils were/ are heavily dependent on UW funding. As the corporate boardrooms became infected with the demand for more diversity training of their employees, the pro-homosexual lobby saw its chance and climbed on board the diversity train. The National BSA Council is advised by the National Council Executive Board, and more specifically, the National Executive Committee - ~ 27 volunteer officers who are essentially a Who's Who from Fortune 500. That is where the power is because they help fund the BSA National Council with corporate grants and personal endowments. The last 5 BSA National (volunteer) Presidents are too blame.
