Well that is evident, this is a “holiday party”, not the celebration of Christ.

They can spend some of their own money for once.
Why should America throw a party for a group that mostly hates America?

This is an impeachable offense. Just another in a long list of such outrages.
I’m glad this was done. Why should those self righteous crows get free food and drinks while they continue to insult the President and family at every opportunity?
But I am very confident that said crows will bravely middle through this terrible attack on the sanctity of the freedom of the press and will miraculously find the strength and courage to continue disrespecting and attacking President Trump and family as totalitarian racist bigot nazi baby seal clubbers.

I’m pretty old, and Trump is older than me. I project “old guy” perspective on his actions a lot.
The guy is a doer and knows he’s probably not going to be around all that much longer. He also doesn’t need this gig. I get the feelings that he is EXACTLY what this country needs because he’s not doing anything to further his own political career. He wants to make the changes he believes need to be made and then get back to private life and maybe a bucket list.
The “be president” line on the list is checked.

Truth told, it would read, "major news organizations' increasingly contentious relationship with him." The two ways of saying it may each have the same effect; but they do NOT have or imply the same cause.

The White House/Trump never scheduled the party in the first place. Can’t cancel something that hasn’t been scheduled...
I stand corrected. He threw the party but didn’t stay for it.
