Cohen pleaded guilty in August to tax fraud, lying to banks and violating campaign finance laws. The campaign finance charges relate to hush-money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal.

Cohen pleaded guilty in November to lying to Congress about an aborted deal to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. That case was lodged by special counsel Robert Mueller.

“blind loyalty”

That’s a laugh. Cohen has never felt anything near loyalty to Trump - then or now.

His only loyalty is to his own gain.

Cohen betrayed Trump to Mueller so he deserves anything he gets. IMHO he should be fed to the pigs anyway.

The only real crimes he pled to were the taxes. And then all this fluff about Trump. “Dirty deeds” supposedly is a campaign contribution violation and,... nothing else really.

Every member of Congress who used the hush money fund should get the same sentence.

violating campaign finance laws. The campaign finance charges relate to hush-money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal.

By the way this wasn't a crime under campaign finance laws. He pleaded guilty to a political charge that didn't exist. If he had chosen to fight it would have been quickly thrown out.

“The only real crimes he pled to were the taxes”

Yet they somehow twist that into being Cohen was corrupt because of ‘blind loyalty’ to Trump?

Fake News .... spot-on description Mr. President!

You can argue the rest but tax fraud and lying on loan applications to banks are hardly pretend crimes.

Michael Cohen’s Prison is “castle” living.....

Forbes magazine ranked Otisville one of America’s “10 Cushiest Prisons,

“You could do about anything you wanted there,” claimed former inmate John Altman. “It’s not just good. It’s sweet. That’s why you request to go there.”

The prison’s store doubles as a delicatessen, serving up such favorites as rib steak, gefilte fish, salmon, chorizo and smoked oysters.

He said convicts could stay up until 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights watching HBO, Showtime and Cinemax.

It’s just a 90-minute drive for visitors from New York City, and it boasts boccie courts, horseshoe pits and enough room to play soccer.

Memorial Day and the Fourth of July are celebrated with cookouts serving hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon and potato salad.

“The food is right. The commissary is right. The officers don’t bother you. There are a lot of courses you can take. You had weights inside and outside, free weights and machines,” Altman said.

“Food, activities, TV and movies, and visitations are the four things you judge a facility by,” he said. “Things were good.”

Selective prosecution

Perhaps. He might have gotten away with it a bit longer if he hadn't worked for Trump. But that doesn't change the fact that the crimes he plead to are real, even if they had nothing to do with the Trump campaign or Trump himself.

My bet is he never sees the inside. And not because he was pardoned. I think he and Flynn have been in on it. Maybe not from the beginning, but they are now. And neither of them will seen a day inside anywhere, including Club Fed.
