It’s a win for Trump. The defamation lawsuit filed against Donald Trump by Michael Avenatti on behalf of Stormy Daniels has been tossed—and a judge is ordering her to pay nearly the president’s $294,000 legal tab. Daniels recently toldthe Daily Beast that the defamation suit filed by Avenatti was done against her wishes. The suit claimed that Trump has defamed the adult entertainment actress on his Twitter account. Well, regardless of the circumstances, it’s time to pay up, Stormy (via CNBC):

A federal judge in California has ordered porn star Stormy Daniels to pay President Donald Trump more than $292,000 in his attorneys' fees and another $1,000 in sanctions in connection with her dismissed defamation suit against Trump.
Trump's lawyer Charles Harder said that the fees that Daniels was ordered to pay amount to 75 percent of Trump's legal feels in the case. And he said the sanctions are for Daniels having filed a "meritless" defamation action against Trump.
But Harder had asked U.S. District Judge S. James Otero earlier this month for almost $800,000 in attorneys' fees and penalties in the case.
"The court's order, along with the court's prior order dismissing Stormy Daniels' defamation case against the President, together constitute a total victory for the President, and a total defeat for Stormy Daniels in this case," Harder said Tuesday.

Daniels's lawyer Michael Avenatti told CNBC in a text message that, "Harder and Trump deserve each other because they are both dishonest."
"They received less than one half what they asked for because the request was gross and excessive," Avenatti said. "Stormy will never have to pay a dime because they owe her over $1 million in attorney's fees and costs from the main NDA case, especially in light of Cohen's guilty plea to a felony.
Avenatti's text referenced Daniels's still-pending lawsuit against Trump that seeks damages in connection with a non-disclosure agreement, or NDA, that she has with the president.

Correct. She had plenty of time to have him dismiss it once it was filed.

Based on Stormy’s successful stripping tour, I think Trump will be promptly paid in full with a big pile of sweaty one-dollar bills.
Even going into bankruptcy court, she’ll have to lay out all of her assets. If she lies and it comes up later...that’ll end up with legal proceedings and possible jail time. I think that will be the Trump-team legal play. I seriously doubt that Trump ends up with more than $25k.
With 13,000+ professional porn movies produced per year, she’ll be lucky to get minimum wage as a fluffer.

Failure to comply with the payment makes her subject to “Contempt of Court” charges. That could result in jail time until full payment is made.
You know, every time I see a photo of her, I am reminded of how, in my opinion, the allegations that she had an affair with DJT are total hogwash. If DJT were going to have an affair while married to Melania, don’t you think the woman involved would have to be more beautiful than Melania? I don’t think Trump ever did a thing with Daniels, and she wanted him instead. Therefore, the rejected woman made a play for a rich man’s money. Daniels is an opportunist.
Trump can use it as a down payment on the Wall.
