Agreed. Being a newly retired (as of 30 Nov) 31 year combat vet...I can now vent.
I'm sick and tired of the hypocrisy. We say drugs are our number one problem in this country...and a wall would stop a lot of that. PLUS...for 15 years our soldiers have stood by and actually protected the production of poppy fields n Afghanistan while our politicians complain about the opioid crisis...and 70+% of that garbage comes from there.
I'm sick of it all.

I can't imagine. Not military but worked for the government as a nurse and the stuff they did and still do has me still watching my p's and q's but I'm fed up. I saw and have heard so many speak of guarding the poppies then claiming an opiate war they created. It's the same with the borders. You, being in the military know much more than the scuttlebutt I've heard but the fact remains, we can't keep kicking the can down the road when our own are being killed for
bad murderous polices.
BTW it's an honor to speak with a man who has served so long to defend our constitution. I thank-you, sounds shallow but I do thank-you.
